Join a select group of art students work to from artists' models and explore the timeless beauty
of the figure.
A wall of sky lights provides northern light, revealing the many subtle values of light on the flesh,
as well as the magic of reflected lights. Weekly demonstrations clarify principles of anatomy,
line, light, and methods of shading. Materials explored include white and black charcoal on
toned paper, wax and chalk pencils.
Due to the small size of the group, significant time is devoted to individual instruction and each
student's own creative interests.
January-February Session
Dates: 5 Thursdays. January 19 & 26, February 2, 9, &16
Time: 10am-1pm
Fee: $425 for the series, a $75 savings off the $100/session fee. Five, 3 hr sessions (15hrs of
drawing)
March Session
Dates: 5 Thursdays. March 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29
Time: 10am-1pm
Fee: $425 for the series, a $75 savings off the $100/session fee.
April-May Session
Dates: 6 Thursdays. April 19, 26, May 3, 10, 17, & 24
Time: 10am-1pm
Fee: $510 for the series, a $90 savings off the $100/session fee.
