Viviane began her artistic career as a painter and sculptor, but as she went through the process of creating her own stop motion films, through painting and recording thousands of still images, she realized what truly interested her was the way the images transformed in the course of making a painting.
Filmmakers and advertising companies began commissioning and licensing her one-of-a- kind- hand painted animations. Her experimental films have been shown internationally, including at the Imagine Science Film festival, MGM National Harbor and Amazon Video and her animations have been licensed by McCann Advertising and installed in hotels, Universities and Museums. She won the AWARD of EXCELLENCE in painting from The Edward Hopper House.
Viviane uses acrylic, gouache, pastel and pencil to generate magical realist sequences by modifying and shooting paintings over and over to create visceral and mesmerizing animations.
